ADHD Assessment

Price: $599

A complete diagnostic assessment completed over two virtual appointments. In-person assessments are also available at our Stoney Creek location upon request.

  • Your first appointment (60-90 minutes) includes a diagnostic interview with a nurse practitioner trained in ADHD assessment and treatment. You'll then complete questionnaires over the following week, along with input from someone who knows you well. For teenagers, a teacher questionnaire may also be included.
  • The objective of your second appointment is to review the results of the assessment. Learning that you do not have ADHD is just as important as learning that you do and is the next step in getting the answers you’re searching for.
  • After the assessment is complete, you will receive documentation that outlines the assessments that were completed and the final diagnosis or conclusion. You will have the option to have this automatically sent to your primary care provider.
  • This assessment is intended to evaluate ADHD only and does not include formal testing for autism spectrum disorder or learning disabilities. These concerns are typically assessed through a psychoeducational assessment.

*Low-income families with less than $60,000/year household income can have the cost reduced.

Initial Treatment Plan

Price: $275

  • The Focus Clinic will start your ADHD treatment with regular follow-up appointments for medication or dose adjustments until you reach the appropriate treatment plan. We require an initial in-office appointment to review the medication options together. In addition, we’ll perform a physical exam, including a blood pressure and heart rate assessment.
  • This price includes one in-office appointment to initiate the treatment and one follow-up appointment. This is typically done virtually, unless deemed necessary to meet in office.

Ongoing Care

Price: $75 per appointment

  • Ongoing follow up appointments are typically scheduled every four to eight weeks until your treatment is optimized. Once you reach this point, all follow up appointments are every three to six months. Of course, you're welcome to book a check-in appointment any time before this.

ADHD Treatment Optimization for Individuals with Prior Diagnosis

Already have an ADHD diagnosis? Our services are also available to individuals with a prior diagnosis. Our team will meet with you to ensure your current treatment is optimized to meet your personal needs and goals.

Treatment Initiation & Optimization for Previously Diagnosed ADHD

Price: $350

  • The Focus Clinic will start your ADHD treatment with regular follow-up appointments for medication or dose adjustments as needed.
  • At this appointment, we will reassess your ADHD symptoms and how they are affecting the various areas of your life.
  • This price includes one in-office appointment to initiate the treatment and one follow-up appointment. This is typically done virtually, unless deemed necessary to meet in office.

Ongoing Care & Prescription Management

Price: $75 per appointment

  • Ongoing follow up appointments are typically done every four to eight weeks until your treatment is optimized. Once you reach this point, all follow up appointments are every three to six months. Of course, you're welcome to book a check-in appointment any time before this.

*Our services are provided by nurse practitioners who are specifically trained in the assessment, diagnosis, and medical management of ADHD. Nurse practitioner services are not covered by OHIP. The Focus Clinic does not bill third parties. If you have extended medical benefits or a health spending plan, you may be able to receive reimbursement. It is your responsibility to inquire with your extended medical benefits provider.
